Le Petit Dejeuner

Service was actually pretty rude for no reason whatsoever. Only thing that saved this place and gets them a four is that the food was amazing. Would have been a five star if the experience wasn't so terrible.

Friendly service and some of the best food we had in Toronto. The waffles are light and crispy and the portion of fruit with my waffles left me completely satisfied. The atmosphere was diner like with oldies on the radio. I would go back again!

Went on a Friday at around 11.45 or so and had to wait about 30 minutes to get seated. The restaurant has an old diner ambience with lustrous green seats. The food arrived pretty quickly after we were seated. I got the waffle benny and chai latte. The waffle benny comes with one egg, which was perfectly poached and an apple salad which was so refreshing. You have an option of different sides too, and I chose strip bacon(crispy goodness!). The waffle which they also recommend, was crispy and soft at the same time! Loved the chai latte! Definitely worth the wait!
